Description

Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabrics

Silicone coated fiberglass fabrics has a woven fiberglass substrate that has been coated with silicone on one or both sides. These fabrics exhibit the strength and tear resistance of the glass fibers, as well as provide excellent mold release properties. A lot of adhesive material, usually glued to PTFE, will be released from our silicone fabric. Our silicone fabric has high dielectric strength, abrasion resistance and bending resistance, and its operating temperature range is -100 ° F to + 500 ° F. Silicone coatings are highly resistant to chemical attack and are protected from mild, non-oxidizing acids, most salts, minerals and lubricants, air, moisture and sunlight. All of the above quality of the coating enables the fabric to be used in a wide range of industrial applications, such us: Gasketing; Release and Seperator Sheets; Safety Curtains; Shrink Tunnels; Conveyor Belts; Electrical Insulation Tapes; Foam Manufacturing.
